18 August 2016 Annual Regional & Committee Update - A Region in Transition
Guest Speaker: CEO, Chris Potaris. Co-presented by Paul Byrne, Director, Economic Planning and Development at the Metropolitan Planning Authority.
The significant regional development, national and international investment, economic, social and cultural changes which are occurring in Melbourne's West are quite profound. For the past 18 years, the Committee for Wyndham have worked closely with Government and key Western Melbourne business and industry groups to attract and secure significant investment into the region, to create and retain jobs and to advocate to successive State Government's on behalf of local communities.
The Committee operates as an apolitical, bi-partisan based voice representing business and industry regarding the most important major projects in our state's history. Held at the local at the Werribee Footbal Club our CEO, Chris Potaris, provided the 80+ members and associates topical information on Melbourne's West. The event was also co-presented by Paul Byrne, Director, Economic Planning and Development at the Metropolitan Planning Authority. We also heard a compelling short presentation from our Major Event Partner - BIR Solutions
