April Update from Our CEO: A Month of Connecting, Innovating and Inspiring

A Message from Our CEO, Leanne Down

As I celebrate my one-year anniversary with the Committee for Wyndham, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress we’ve made together. This year has been a journey of collaboration, growth, and advocacy for our local businesses and community and thank you for being part of that journey.

Over the weekend, the results of the federal election were announced, with the Labor Government led by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese forming government. As we move forward, we remain focused on the work ahead. As a non-partisan organisation, we are committed to continuing collaborating with all elected MPs to ensure that the voices of Wyndham’s businesses are heard. Our goal is to continue advocating for our region’s growth, prosperity, and development in the years to come. The Committee will continue to work together with all stakeholders to drive positive change and support the ongoing success of our community.

I hope you enjoy this edition of our newsletter and gain a deeper understanding of the initiatives we’ve been driving throughout April. From impactful meetings to innovative engagement opportunities, it’s been a month of significant progress and collaboration. We are excited to continue working alongside you and keeping you informed as we make a lasting impact on Wyndham’s growth and success.

Warm regards,
Leanne Down
