LEANNE DOWN – CEO

Leanne Down is a highly respected executive leader and passionate advocate for the Wyndham region.

As Chief Executive Officer of the Committee for Wyndham, Leanne leads the organisation’s work in regional advocacy, economic development, strategic partnerships and cross-sector collaboration for one of Victoria’s fastest-growing communities.

With more than 30 years’ experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, Leanne brings a strong background in organisational leadership, governance, stakeholder engagement, communications, marketing and community development.
Her career has included leading complex organisational transformation, strengthening operational performance and building trusted relationships across business, government and community.

A lifelong Hobson’s Bay & Wyndham local, Leanne is deeply committed to shaping the region’s future and ensuring the voices of business, industry and community are heard in key conversations about growth, investment, infrastructure and liveability.

Leanne was named 2023 Wyndham Citizen of the Year and is a recipient of the 2025 International Women’s Day Business Award, recognising her leadership, service and contribution to the Wyndham community.

JANINE CUTRONA

Janine is an integral part of the Committee for
Wyndham, where she manages accounts, memberships, and administrative functions.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong organisational skill set, Janine ensures smooth operations and fosters strong relationships with members and stakeholders. Her dedication to supporting the Committee’s mission is evident in her proactive approach to problem-solving and her commitment to providing excellent service.

Janine’s passion for the Wyndham community drives her to contribute positively to local initiatives, making her a valued member of the team.
