WHAT WE DO

We work with our members and engage with stakeholders to achieve a stronger, better Wyndham.

OUR HISTORY

Championing Wyndham

The Committee for Wyndham, founded in 1998, is Australia’s third oldest “Committee for” organisation. For over 26 years, we have been at the heart of Wyndham’s growth, championing the interests of our community through collaboration with businesses, government, and local stakeholders.

As a non-partisan, membership-based, not-for-profit, we amplify the voice of Wyndham’s business community. Our mission is to drive the region’s economic, social, and cultural prosperity by connecting businesses, government bodies, and community. Together, we create a thriving future for Wyndham.

We are proud members of the Committee for Cities & Regions, a powerful network of independent “Committee for” organisations across Australia and New Zealand. With nearly 700 influential members and corporate partners, together we advocate for long-term solutions to pressing issues like population growth, economic development, and social cohesion. Our members include leaders from business, industry, and community sectors, working together to shape vibrant, dynamic cities and regions.

The Committee for Wyndham takes a strategic, long-term approach, transcending political cycles to ensure sustainable and responsible development. We are committed to making Wyndham a better place to live, work, and grow, with a vision that stretches locally, nationally, and internationally.

We are here to represent our members and community by staying relevant, informed, and connected.
