AMDA delivers Australia’s largest and most prominent international defence, aerospace and aviation expositions, conferences, programs and airshows. These events act as an enabler to achieve our mission; serving as platforms for industry promotion, collaboration and engagement.
AMDA’s flagship and Wyndham’s local event, Avalon Australian International Airshow is held every two years for six days at Avalon Airport. The airport becomes the home of everything exciting, inspiring and innovative across the spectrum of aviation, from Australia and around the world.
Avalon Australian International Airshow is a unique blend of industry, defence, commercial and recreational aviation. Part airshow spectacle, part business event, part careers fair, it attracts enthusiasts, professionals and the general public, by the hundreds of thousands, from around the world.
Avalon Australian International Airshow will return to the skies in 2027.
