Aerospace Australia Limited is also a member of the not-for-profit group headed by Aerospace Maritime and Defence Foundation of Australia Limited.

Aerospace Australia Limited (together with its corporate affiliate, Industry Defence & Security Australia Limited) are members of the not-for-profit group headed by Aerospace Maritime and
Defence Foundation of Australia Limited.  The Group is dedicated to promoting the development of aviation and Australia’s industrial, manufacturing and information/communications technology resources with respect to aviation, aerospace, maritime and defence.

The principal activities of Aerospace Australia Limited is to stage the Australian International Aerospace & Defence Exposition, which is held in conjunction with the biennial, Australian International Airshow at Avalon Airport., Victoria.

Like other members of the group, Aerospace Australia Limited also works with fellow not-for-profit organisations, industry associations, the Australian Defence Force and Government agencies in cooperative partnerships to foster the development of Australian resources and capabilities.
