Thursday 13 August marked Committee for Wyndham’s 15th Annual Economic Update Lunch, proudly sponsored by Williams Landing by Cedar Woods, and Commonwealth Bank.
It was fantastic to see a room filled with 90 members and business community, coming together to hear from Commonwealth Bank Chief Economist Luke Yeaman on the economic outlook and what it could mean for businesses in the months ahead.
Luke took us through the international, national, state and local economic landscape, sharing projections, emerging opportunities and some of the factors likely to shape our economy over the next 6–12 months.
For businesses, having access to this kind of information matters. It helps us look beyond today’s conditions, consider what may be ahead and make more informed decisions about planning, investment and growth.
Creating opportunities for our business community to hear directly from leading experts, stay informed and connect with one another is an important part of Committee for Wyndham’s role in supporting a strong and resilient local economy.
A sincere thank you to Williams Landing town Centre|Cedar Woods and Commonwealth Bank for sponsoring and supporting this event again. To Luke Yeaman for sharing his expertise, and to our members and broader business community for once again coming together and making the day such a success.
And a special thank you to Lizzy Jacobs Photography for capturing the day through her photography, and Coates Corp for capturing the event footage and helping us share the conversations and connections from the day beyond the room.
15 years of Economic Update Lunches delivered by the Committee for Wyndham – and another terrific Wyndham business event in the books.
