A Wyndham resident, Melba is the Australia Post Licensee of North Geelong and Bacchus Marsh Post Offices.  She is President of Bridge Builders for Australasia Inc. and President for the Australian Council for Multicultural Entrepreneurs.

Melba’s past community involvement includes Chairperson of the Cultural Display Pavillion of the Melbourne International Folkfest and as Chairperson of the Princess Committee of the Philippine Australian Foundation.

Melba was a Senior Achiever Recipient at the 2022 Victorian Senior of the Year Awards.
