WynBay LLEN

Established in 2001, WynBay LLEN (Wyndham and Hobsons Bay Local Learning and Employment Network) is an independent, incorporated entity.

WynBay LLEN focuses on creating strategic partnerships that address gaps and needs in youth education and employment. Our main objectives include enhancing school retention and attainment while increasing opportunities for further education, training, and employment for young people.

Currently, WynBay LLEN is funded by the Department of Education to deliver the School to Work Program, which aims to assist secondary school students in the Wyndham and Hobsons Bay areas by offering access to work-based learning opportunities, such as work experience, structured workplace learning, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SBATs) for non-government school students, workplace visits, industry tours, life skills programs, and work-readiness activities.

This program provides an excellent opportunity for industries to engage with students and schools. Through this initiative, students can develop employability skills and make informed decisions about their future careers.
