Ride with the Mayor: A Memorable Journey

This year’s “Ride with the Mayor” was a memorable journey through Wyndham’s exciting developments! Our corporate members explored several key locations:

Werribee Police Complex: Attendees visited the newly renovated station and the upcoming Werribee Court Precinct, which is set to be the second largest law court outside Melbourne. This facility is thoughtfully designed to serve Wyndham’s diverse CALD community, enhancing safety and responsiveness.

Truganina Community Centre: A highlight of the day was the state-of-the-art centre featuring a kindergarten, health rooms, community spaces, and a library lounge. Located near key amenities, it promises to provide accessible services to Wyndham’s growing population.

Wyndham Stadium Precinct: Our final stop showcased its modern design and cultural inclusivity. The precinct includes office spaces, a gym, large sporting fields, and a developing stadium, all reflecting First Nations heritage and promoting gender equality.

A huge thank you to Mayor Dr. Jennie Barrera and Lesley Rogan for organizing this fantastic day on behalf of CFW, as well as to all attendees for making the tour a success. We’re already excited for next year’s event and look forward to welcoming new faces!
