Committee for Wyndham held the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 26 October 2021. Thankyou to those members that attended.
In his report to the meeting Chairman Peter Mayall acknowledged that the year was once again overshadowed by COVID-19 and lockdowns. He was pleased that in a time when the Committee’s usual business of engagement and connection was challenged, that the work undertaken ensured that it continued to have a loud voice in Wyndham and it came through the year in a strong position.
Like the Chairman, CEO Barbara McLure acknowledged the challenges that continued throughout the year and impacted on the way C4W operated. While face-to-face events were limited, Barbara highlighted the success of Business Connect Wyndham and the move to delivering short-form leadership programs online. Membership continued to be impacted during COVID with a number of businesses not able to continue their support or reduce their level of support. Government at all levels support was acknowledged.
